Bank of Communications opens Sydney branch

The Bank of Communications opened its Sydney branch, marking its 11th overseas branch.

 

Niu Ximin, President of BOCOM, noted that Australia is China's important trading partner and an important economy in the pacific region, and that Sydney has good basis of finance and economy. That's why the BOCOM decided to expand its business in Australia with its first branch in Sdyney. He also hoped that the newly established branch would provide first-class financial services to the Australian customers and companies.

The opening ceremony was joined by more than 400 bankers, business leaders and local dignitaries.
