Krung Thai Bank pursues nationwide ATM expansion

Krung Thai Bank is going to expand ATM installation points to facilitate the clients nationwide including the four southern-most border provinces.The Bank has also quickened the process of ATM installation and is currently preparing to install over 1,000 ATMs to be installed in large communities, such as department stores and government agencies. Moreover, the Bank is the first to install ATMs at all 18 MBT subway stations as well as the first to install them at the extended BTS sky train stations namely Wongwian Yai and Thonburi stations, apart from those 13 stations already installed.Currently, the Bank owns more than 6,000 ATMs of which 4,000 are distributed nationwide making the bank the top ATM provider in provincial areas. In the southern-most provinces namely Songklah, Yala, Narathiwas, Pattanee, the Bank has owned nearly 200 ATMs ready to serve the clients. Especially in Yala and Narathiwas provinces, more than 50 percent of ATMs are those of Krung Thai Bank. Such ATM facilities will facilitate financial transactions by government officials, soldiers, teachers and locals.
