Muhammad Ghifary leads several iniatives of AI-powered products, services, and solutions in progressing towards the digital transformation. Before joining BRI, Ghifary was Head of AI in Bukalapak, responsible for delivering AI solutions that support some technical and business domains such as recommendation systems, search engine, cyber security, investment and financing solutions. Ghifary has experience as a research scientist at Weta Digital, one of the world leading digital visual effect companies, to empower 3D animators and modellers through AI, involved in several big movie projects War for the Planet of the Apes, Deadpool 2, and Alita: Battle Angle. He holds a PhD in computer science specialized in the intersection of machine learning and computer vision.
Charles Allen

Regional Head of Digital, Wealth & Personal Banking, Asia Pacific HSBC
Charles is the ASP Head of Digital for Wealth and Personal Banking, HSBC. He focuses on growing the digital capabilities of our people within country teams and expanding the commercial impact of digital channels in our Bank’s largest region.
He also oversees the team that designs, builds and runs digital solutions for the Bank’s retail banking customers globally. His focus is on developing leading digital customer experiences, which are fast, easy and secure across mobile, web and staff channels, as well as using data to make customer interactions more personal and relevant.
Prior to HSBC, Charles held senior leadership positions at American Express including running the International Strategy group, leading Amex UK’s Brand and Customer Management team and managing Amex’s World Service change programme. In addition, Charles spent 8 years co-founding start-ups in mobile payments and multiplayer computer games. Charles started his career in consulting with Marakon Associates and has an Engineering degree from Cambridge University.

Steven WONG Weng Leong is currently the Chief Digital & Global Banking Strategist at China Construction Bank (CCB) Malaysia. Just prior to this, he was the Chief Operating & Financial Strategist (COO, CIO/CTO, CFO & Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer roles combined) and before that, the Chief Business Development Strategist. At CCB Malaysia, Mr Wong spearheads bank-wide business growth and provides strategic leadership for Global Banking & Markets and Wholesale & Retail Digital Banking (Cash Management, Retail Banking), which includes catalyzing FinTech initiatives in delivering product, technology and digital innovations for the Malaysian and ASEAN markets.
He is well regarded in the financial services industry as an all-rounder and go-to-individual, having held several senior executive leadership positions across various leading financial institutions over the last 27 years. He has held strategic leadership roles in the Front Office (FO), Middle Office (MO) and Back Office (BO) at Western Union, Alliance Financial Group, Maybank, Mayban Life Assurance, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank and Citi.
